About InSIM

also referred to as Indonesian Students in SIM, stands as an eminent international student club within SIM, Singapore. Its inception on November 3rd 2006, has established it as one of the foremost Indonesian student organizations in Singapore. Throughout its tenure, InSIM has consistently maintained its affiliation with PPIS (Perkumpulan Pelajar Indonesia di Singapura), the esteemed Indonesian Students' Association in Singapore. Furthermore, the organization has adeptly convened and united a substantial contingent of Indonesian students pursuing their academic endeavors at SIM.

The core principle of InSIM, encapsulated in its motto "Where Indonesians bond in SIM", is to foster a welcoming and congenial ambiance for Indonesian students, thereby providing them with a sense of familial belonging amid their academic sojourn at SIM. Additionally, InSIM zealously endeavors to propagate Indonesia's venerable historical legacy and multifarious cultural heritage not solely to its compatriot students but also to the society at large.

InSIM's paramount objectives encompass the facilitation of substantive interactions, proficient communication, and the cultivation of robust camaraderie among Indonesian students hailing from diverse ethnocultural backgrounds. Simultaneously, the organization ardently strives to inculcate a profound ardor and veneration for our motherland, Indonesia. To this end, InSIM diligently forges and sustains strong affiliations not merely among Indonesian students at SIM but also with other academic institutions, proffering an eclectic array of captivating and stimulating activities.

Unswervingly dedicated to the holistic advancement of its members, InSIM actively fosters the pursuit of excellence in sports, arts, and academics. Within its sports division, one encounters proficient teams dedicated to football, badminton, and basketball. The art division boasts the illustrious InSIM Dance Club (ISDC) and InSIM Band, furnishing platforms for aspiring students to showcase their artistic finesse. Furthermore, InSIM takes immense pride in its media team, InSIMedia, cultivating the creative growth of aspiring videographers and photographers among its ranks.
